Congratulations! If you’re reading this document then that means you’re on your way to finishing your MSc thesis! This was written as a guide from what I went through and what I found to be helpful during the entire library formatting/ electronic submission.
*Note I wrote my thesis using LaTex. Microsoft Word users might find this document useful, or not.
Formatting:
Follow the CPP library guidelines found here: https://www.cpp.edu/~academic-programs/graduate-studies/project-thesis-guidelines/formatting.shtml. LaTex users should know that the backbone file given by the math department may have incorrect margins. You should print out the document and measure the margins with a ruler. If they are incorrect these margins may be adjusted by adjusting the \footskip, \textlength, \linespread, etc within your backbone file (LaTex Class document). A good reference for setting your margins can be found here, https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/LaTeX/Page_Layout. You should contact Marilu Salcedo (msalcedo@cpp.edu) for formatting appointments.
Electronic Submission:
The electronic submission was pretty straight forward. I found the tutorial video on the CPP website useful. This video can also be found on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVnIV-OI7to&feature=youtu.be). You need to have access to Acrobat Pro for ADA tagging to make your thesis accessible to those with disabilities so they can read your thesis. You need to first set up your Bronco Scholar (this could take a few days to go through). Use Acrobat Pro and follow the tutorial video to complete the ADA tagging and submit your work. It was also recommended to me to also upload a compressed folder containing all the images in my thesis. Please contact Ryan Rush (rrrush@cpp.edu) if you have additional questions.
